If you like to have a drink ever so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all cash, charge cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Grab only the money you expect to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you intend to burn and leave the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic more like. You could experience a win after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hit a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure because it is as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not go well together.

Leaving your money back at the hotel is a tiny bit excessive, but defensive actions for excessive actions is essential. If you gamble to win, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to blow your assets nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous beer you are able to handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunk as a skunk head throws away every little thing!
