If you enjoy having a a cocktail every so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you expect to squander and leave the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You might experience a profit following a boozy evening out with your comrades and be blessed enough to hook a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Keep that story seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. The two simply do not go well together.

Leaving your moolah out of the casino is a bit dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is essential. If you play to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to blow your assets without a worry, then consume all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not take charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed self throws away all the cash!

Allow me to carry this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on to the internet to gamble in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my condo, however seeing that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.

Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. When mixed, both create a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
